101 Mobility Huntington WV Ramps Up Relationships with Local Businesses through a Weeklong Community Blitz
Huntington, WV (PRWEB) July 29, 2014 -- Bob Murdock, owner of 101 Mobility Huntington WV, along with his son and general manager Justin Murdock, embarked on a weeklong effort to increase their business profile in the Huntington area. 101 Mobility Huntington is an area retailer, installer, and service provider for mobility solutions such as stair lifts, wheelchair ramps, patient lifts, auto lifts, and more. With the help of 101 Mobility Franchise Development Manager Chris Mink, they scheduled meetings and visited with many local businesses in the healthcare, rehabilitation, assisted living, and geriatric care industries.
The 101 Mobility Huntington WV team met with organizations such as the National MS Society, ResCare, The Arc of Three Rivers, Mountain Home Care Center for Independent Living, and the Transitions Coordinators for Take Me Home WV. During the meetings, Bob and Justin discussed the ways they can assist these businesses and organizations with mobility and accessibility equipment for safe and easy access and transport.
The meeting with the Transitions Coordinators for Take Me Home WV, a program of the Metro Agency on Aging, went particularly well. “This program receives federal funding to help transition people out of skilled nursing facilities and back into the community,” said Justin. “Aging in place is a passion of mine and we look forward to assisting this program by ensuring these clients have the access equipment necessary to safely navigate their living spaces when they return home.”
Both Bob and Justin look forward to nurturing their newfound business relationships and are thrilled to be able to bring improved access and mobility to local businesses and disabled communities.
