Justin Murdock Named One of the State’s 5 Aging in Place Specialists
Huntington, WV (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- Justin Murdock, General Manager of 101 Mobility of West Virginia has successfully completed the National Association of Home Builder’s Aging-in-Place Specialist Course. He is now one of the state’s five aging in place specialists, meaning he can professionally make recommendations for those wishing to remain in their homes throughout their later years. Aging in place is the preferred living situation for the nation’s seniors as opposed to relocating to a nursing home or moving into a new space.
To earn his certification, Justin traveled to Charlotte, NC to complete the three-day course with other members of the aging in place, healthcare, and building industries. Each session focused on a unique aspect of aging in place, including communication, designing and building strategies, and business management. After each session, the candidates were required to pass an examination in order to proceed. Justin’s successful completion of the CAPS course establishes his understanding of the aging in place process, and his dedication to providing clients with effective mobility solutions.
Justin is now a member of an elite nationwide group dedicated to bringing this special knowledge and training to their communities. He is especially proud to be just the 5th person in West Virginia to complete the course. In addition to his new certification, Justin is also a member of the Tri-State Association of Homebuilders and is looking forward to providing seniors in the Huntington, Charleston, and Lexington areas with industry leading aging in place solutions.
