101 Mobility Dallas Makes a ‘Slam Dunk’ for Accessibility at the NCAA Final Four
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 07, 2014 -- On Wednesday, 101 Mobility Dallas delivered a commercial platform lift to the AT&T Stadium for use during the Final Four games and tonight’s championship game. 101 Mobility Dallas is a local retailer, installer, and repairs resource for wheelchair ramps, residential and commercial wheelchair lifts, stair lifts, patient lifts, auto lifts, and rental solutions.
The rental lift installed at AT&T Stadium is a Harmar CPL (commercial platform lift) 400 portable. The easily transportable CPL is stationed courtside to provide wheelchair access to the elevated court. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant lift gives fans and journalists convenient court access for post-game interviews.
101 Mobility owner Jennifer Raney was extremely excited to be a part of the project. “It was really cool to deliver the lift through the field tunnel underneath the area,” she said. “The stadium’s director of procurement was great to work with. Our staff met with his team and trained them on how to safely operate the lift.” Jennifer continued to comment on the usefulness of a rented wheelchair lift and how great it is to be able to bring accessibility to such a large venue and for an event as highly anticipated as the NCAA Championship Tournament.
Steal a peek at the wheelchair lift on TV tonight! Tune into CBS at 9pm and watch the UConn Huskies take on the Kentucky Wildcats—March Madness indeed!
