101 Mobility of Austin will be a sponsor for this weekend's 'Striking a Balance' Caregiver Conference.

101 Mobility of Austin will be a sponsor for this weekend’s “Striking a Balance” Caregiver Conference. Information on wheelchair ramp, stair lift, patient lifts, and more will be on hand at the 101 Mobility of Austin table. Attendees will also have the chance to ask about the rental program for residential stair lifts and wheelchair ramps.

This weekend’s event is the first of two local conferences for family caregivers and offers solutions for family caregivers looking after aging parents or loved ones. Trusted local retailers, service providers, and aging specialists will be present to share their knowledge and experiences with the conference attendees. AGE of Central Texas and The Area Agency on Aging in the Capital Area are the two organizers of this annual conference. AGE is an incredible local resource for seniors and their families. Their five programs include adult health care, caregiver education, support for early memory loss, health equipment lending, and computer classes for seniors. The Area Agency on Aging works in the 10 County Region to promote the health, safety, and well-being of senior community members.

“We’re happy to be a sponsor for the conference along with such a wonderful group of local businesses and resources,” said Debra Dowden, owner of 101 Mobility of Austin. “We’re excited to connect with community members and let family caregivers know our products and services are available in their neighborhood.” This will be 101 Mobility of Austin’s first appearance at the “Striking a Balance” Caregiver Conference in Austin and they will also be a sponsor at AGE’s second conference in Williamson County.
