Post-production studio and special effects developers, Pixel Film Studios, announced the launch of ProVega Volume 2 today, a sequel to their professional lens flare plugin for Final Cut Pro X.
"ProVega provides editors with a whole new library of lens flares to use in Final Cut Pro X," Said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios, "This is the perfect complementary plugin to ProVega Volume 1, one of our all-time favorite plugins."
With a newly redesigned interface and control options, ProVega Volume 2 was made to create complex and realistic lens flares in the generators section of Final Cut Pro X. Users simply have to drag and drop one or many of the flare generators on top of their footage and prepare to create epic and beautiful lens flares.
ProVega Volume 2 can create a lens flare for any scene in a few clicks of a mouse. With a collection of 30 new shapes and presets, along with numerous customization options the lens flare possibilities are endless in Final Cut Pro X.
Editors can take total control of their flares by using the on-screen controls in the Final Cut Pro X viewer window. By grabbing the handles, users can position, rotate and spread their lens flare to be exactly where they need it to be. Never has building a lens flare in FCPX been so easy.
ProVega Volume 2 was designed to help users customize and create the perfect flare for any scene without ever leaving Final Cut Pro X. Users can quickly and easily change the position, saturation, opacity, intensity, spread, scale, blur, and color parameters to build their very own flare. Editors can also animate their lens flare to react to the light in the scene.
