Denver-based Party Band ‘Boogie Machine’ Celebrates 15 Years of Bringing Back Disco and 70’s Entertainment
Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- Boogie Machine, Colorado’s premier Disco and 70’s-era retro party band, celebrated their 15th anniversary this month of bringing great music and fun times to corporate and private parties alike.
Based in Denver, Colorado, Boogie Machine covers a wide range of 70’s music, Disco, Funk, and Rock to make every performance memorable in the best way possible to events in Denver, Aspen, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Vail, Wyoming, and other areas nationwide. With a client list a mile long, Boogie Machine has built their reputation over the past 15 years as being one of the most energetic and unforgettable bands in the Midwest.
With roots as a rock band, Boogie Machine fell in love with Disco after watching another band’s performance and branched into the music genre in 1998. Boogie Machine had instant success with Disco and other 70’s songs and quickly grew their fan base by playing outdoor venues, holiday parties, company events, and even weddings.
Some of the greatest moments over the years that Boogie Machine remembers is playing for massive crowds, such as “8,000 people for Vail Street Beat, 6,000 in Cheyenne, and performing at Coors Field for over 50,000” said Jerry Bergeson, one of Boogie Machine’s founders.
With a large fan base in Colorado and pleased crowds across the country, Boogie Machine plays at holiday parties, nightclubs, and many corporate events. And it’s not hard to spot the party coming with Boogie Machine as they’re decked out in massive afros, swinging bell-bottom pants, and sky-high platform shoes. A blast from the past is an understatement.
As Colorado’s best corporate event entertainment, Boogie Machine’s slogan for company parties is “Stop Working, Start Dancing,” and their long list of repeat clients such as VISA, Coldwell Banker, and Microsoft attest to that fact.
“Most people expect company parties to be boring and stuffy,” said Bergeson. “I love how they are shocked when we walk into the room in Afros and it instantly goes from boring company function to PARTY!”
The band members of Boogie Machine are also available for hire as an 80’s retro party band named Ronnie Raygun & the Big 80’s. Clients can hire the band separately as Boogie Machine or Ronnie Raygun & the Big 80’s, or combine the two for a smashing Retromania show.
