United Breast Cancer Foundation Included as a Qualified Charity by the Combined Federal Campaign
Huntington Station, NY (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is pleased to announce that UBCF has been accepted as a charitable organization in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Meeting the rigorous standards for qualifying charities set by the CFC is big news for UBCF! Thousands of charities apply nationally and internationally each year and only 300 are selected. UBCF went through a lengthy and comprehensive application process in 2012 and was approved in May, 2013. We will be in the CFC campaigns starting September 1, 2013 and is part of the Human Service Charities of America Federation. UBCF’s CFC number is 77934.
CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
