As a particle emitter, ProPart allows users to more control over the look of the particles in Final Cut Pro X than composite footage.

Post-production studio and FCPX effects developers, Pixel Film Studios, announced the launch of ProPart today, a professional particle emitter pack for Final Cut Pro X.
"As a particle emitter, ProPart allows users to more control over the look of the particles in Final Cut Pro X than composite footage," Said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios, "This is a great complementary FCPX plugin to many of our light effects such as ProLumetric and ProMorphic."
ProPart has over 100 diverse and customizable preset options. Users can choose from 4 different sizes and pick from an array of dynamic particle movements. Then they can easily alter the color of the particles, the blur amount, and brightness to add natural kinetic movements to their project. Final Cut Pro X users can effortlessly adjust the direction of the particles by clicking a checkbox.
Using a new particle emitter system, ProPart allows users to customize and adjust the particles and blend settings more precisely than with composite footage. Also, editors can extend the generator to any length without affecting the speed of the particles or running out of footage.
Editors can create epic scenes by adding more than one ProPart generator to the project. They can simply drag and drop the generators into the timeline and change the blend mode to add. Then they can utilize the complementary compositing tools to add extra depth to the particles.
ProPart was designed specifically for Final Cut Pro X users. Editors can look to the inspector window for all of the published parameters including color, blur, opacity, and brightness. Each ProPart generator is categorized neatly by size and color.
