With user-friendly forms, objections to the process are decreased, while user satisfaction increases. And that makes everyone happy.

SharePoint Solutions will hold its popular "Build Better Forms with SharePoint and InfoPath" webinar Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
The webinar, which will show attendees how to make better digital forms in just an hour, will be hosted by TL Ferrell, senior instructor of the course "InfoPath 2010/SharePoint Server 2010 No-Code Workflow Deep Dive." She also will take questions from attendees.
"SharePoint lists provide out-of-the-box forms that are functional but not always optimal," she said. "With user-friendly forms, objections to the process are decreased, while user satisfaction increases. And that makes everyone happy."
In the InfoPath forms webinar, Ferrell will explain how to make forms more usable and easier to fill out, and provide a demonstration using a digital form in InfoPath 2010. In just an hour, attendees will learn techniques to enhance the usability of their forms with:
- Best practices
- Cascading drop-down fields
- Conditional formatting
- Form display options
- Repeating tables
According to Ferrell, any intermediate-level SharePoint user can leverage InfoPath to develop no-code solutions to create powerful forms that are easy to use.
Ferrell is both a SharePoint guru and an experienced software trainer.
