Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) October 07, 2013
Effective today, SharePoint Solutions has a new name: PremierPoint Solutions. After 10 years as a SharePoint-focused company—centered completely on SharePoint products and technologies—the company is expanding its focus to include more technologies which can transform the business landscape and have a serious impact on boosting business efficiency.
The new name reflects PremierPoint Solutions’ broadened technology focus and its ongoing commitment to provide practical, cutting-edge solutions to customers.
PremierPoint Solutions is a privately-held company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., with training locations in Chicago, Dallas, Nashville and Washington, DC. Since 2003, it has been a pioneer in some of the most transformative business technologies of the last decade, as well as a recognized industry leader in training, consulting and software related to those technologies.
Most of its SharePoint courses and services are also applicable to Office 365.
“People have known us for years as a one-stop shop for all things SharePoint, and we will continue to offer the very finest in SharePoint training, consulting and software add-ons. However, our company will soon begin offering products and services unrelated to SharePoint as well, and this new name reflects our expansion in the technology marketplace,” said Jeff Cate, president of PremierPoint Solutions.
“In order to get the maximum value from SharePoint, we have always believed that organizations need training, consulting and add-ons,” he continued. “It’s been our experience that we can best serve our customers through a full-service model focused on the SharePoint platform, offering a one-stop shop that is not available anywhere else in the industry.”
PremierPoint Solutions’ Training Division employs hands-on curriculum, custom-developed and taught by real-world SharePoint consultants who are also master communicators. The company has custom developed more than 30 SharePoint training courses, and its instructors have trained thousands of professionals from more than 3,000 organizations around the world.
Students can access training through in-person classes, live online, private onsite group training and private group online training. The company also has self-paced online training available for SharePoint 2010 and 2013.
“Thousands of students have found our learning environment engaging and enjoyable, and have come away with workplace-ready SharePoint skills and a comprehensive training class manual packed with useful information,” noted Randy Moody, sales and marketing representative for PremierPoint Solutions.
The company’s Commercial Software Division professionally develops high-quality commercial add-ons for SharePoint, such as Extranet Collaboration Manager (ExCM) and Site Provisioning and Governance Assistant (SPGA). These products are used by organizations worldwide to extend SharePoint’s capabilities.
ExCM is a total SharePoint extranet solution supplying the critical extranet management functionality that Microsoft did not include in SharePoint out of the box, and simplifying extranet use. SPGA automates the creation and configuration of new SharePoint sites, while enforcing pre-configured governance and uniformity, and then dispenses the provisioned sites to users upon request.
In the Consulting Division, PremierPoint Solutions has deep expertise in all aspects of applying SharePoint products and technologies including requirements definition, project planning, portal design, implementation, training, troubleshooting and support. Its consultants have served more than a hundred clients nationwide.
Because every organization has its own unique needs and may be at different stages in the process of SharePoint On-Premises or Office 365 adoption, PremierPoint Solutions has designed various consulting offerings that address specific situations and needs.
“Our new name speaks of our industry reputation of leadership, innovation and dependability,” Cate concluded. “We strive to bring unparalleled value to our customers by being leaders in all three disciplines of training, consulting and add-on software, and we look forward to expanding our offerings in the near future.”
