SharePoint Solutions’ Ricky Spears Earns Microsoft Certified Trainer Designation
Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) September 09, 2013 -- SharePoint Solutions’ instructor Ricky Spears has earned the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MTC) designation, which is recognized by technical schools throughout the world.
According to Microsoft’s Learning website, “Microsoft Certified Trainers are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft technologies. When you learn from our Microsoft Certified Trainers, you can be confident that what you’ll learn will be accurate, complete, and up to date.”
This elite designation, which meets stringent certification requirements, is shared by a community that spans more than 140 countries and includes classroom and e-Learning instructors, learning consultants, authors, conference presenters, user-group leaders and others.
An MCT is the only individual that Microsoft authorizes to deliver training that is based on Official Microsoft Learning Products known as Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) or Microsoft Dynamics Learning Products for the MCT program. They need to keep current on Microsoft technology, and learn the most effective ways to prepare students to not only work with Microsoft products, but to take – and pass – the certification tests.
A master communicator with deep SharePoint knowledge and expertise, Spears also holds the following Microsoft certifications:
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional: SharePoint Administrator 2010
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SharePoint 2010 Configuration
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuration
In addition to his training responsibilities, Spears is a SharePoint Solutions consultant and the author of many of the company’s courses on SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 and Office 365.
These introductory-, intermediate- and advanced-level courses span a broad spectrum of SharePoint usage including: daily end-user usage, information architecture, business process automation, branding, business intelligence and server administration. He teaches all the courses he writes, as well as a variety of other SharePoint courses.
“When teaching, I seek to understand the unique business needs of my students and share my experiences and understanding of the product in a fun and engaging way that addresses that need,” Spears said.
Prior to joining SharePoint Solutions, Spears worked as the senior webmaster for Allegacy Federal Credit Union where he designed and built the organization’s first intranet, and later migrated it to the SharePoint platform. His focus in business has always been on process improvement and automation for both the employees and customers of an organization.
Based in Nashville, Tenn., SharePoint Solutions is a nationwide leader in expert-led, in-person and online public classes on SharePoint products and technologies. The company’s software division professionally develops high-quality commercial add-ons for SharePoint. Most of the company’s courses and services are also applicable to Office 365.
