Used-Line is excited to share its latest news with semiconductor manufacturing clientele: recently decommissioned semiconductor equipment is now available for immediate purchase through the Used-Line.com website.
A list of hundreds of front-end semiconductor tools with vintages as recent as 2006, has been posted on Used-Line by a leading used equipment vendor. The equipment is tooled for 200mm (8 inch) wafer size and has a surplus value estimated to be over $100 million.
“We are excited to partner with a leading and trusted equipment dealer to market this list of recent vintage tools. The used semiconductor equipment market is not as strong as we would like, but the tools in this list are quite popular, so we are confident that they will move,” say Nathaniel Sperka of Used-Line.com.
All of the equipment is warehoused in Asia, and is fully documented and photographed and available for inspection. Equipment includes tools from all stages of wafer fabrication and inspection, including W-CVD, LP-CVD, PE-CVD, etchers, ion implanters, steppers, coaters, probers and more.
“With recent model tools from makers like AMAT, Jeol, LAM, KLA Tencor, DNS, Nikon and TEL, we look forward to getting lots of attention from wafer fabs and foundries all over,” says Sperka.
