BraunAbility is a proud sponsor of the powerful new film Cinemability, which includes interviews with Ben Affleck, Jamie Foxx, Jane Seymour, Marlee Matlin, Geena Davis, William H. Macy and many more notable celebrities. The film takes viewers on a thought-provoking and humorous journey as it explores the evolution of disability portrayals in film and television.

Ralph Braun, founder of BraunAbility and the inventor of the wheelchair lift, is featured in the film during a segment about the impact that the original “Ironside” TV series had on the public’s desire for accessible transportation in the early 60’s.

BraunAbility has contributed a customized accessible van to provide transportation for Director Jenni Gold, who has Muscular Dystrophy and uses an electric wheelchair. “We’re proud to support Jenni and her important work, and we are confident the film will raise awareness, enlighten, and entertain all those who see it,” said BraunAbility President Nick Gutwein.
