Longview, TX (PRWEB) October 01, 2013
The 2013 OKC Oilfield Expo is officially the largest oil show in Oklahoma, at 335 exhibiting companies across 445 booths. This expo takes place October 16th-17th, 2013 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Not only is this expo open exclusively to oil and gas professionals, but the exhibiting companies have been screened as well to ensure attendees have access to the most relevant, timely oilfield products and services.
“Our goal is to provide the utmost value for our attendees, in addition to our exhibitors. That means that we also qualify our exhibitors to ensure that they are bringing value to the show floor and ultimately, to our attendees,” said Amy Double, Vice President of Marketing for Texas Classic
Productions, LLC. “For some of our attendees, spending time at our expo means time out of the field. We take every measure to ensure our oil expo is worth their investment.”
Utilizing QR, or quick response codes, as a lead retrieval system is another way the expo brings value to attendees. At most trade shows, only exhibitors have practical access to lead retrieval software. By using QR codes, attendees are now able to take advantage of free lead retrieval as well, with an application available on most smartphones.
“It’s the accessibility of the technology that makes it so powerful,” says Ernest Silver, Vice President of Technical Operations with Texas Classic Productions, LLC. “QR code technology is functionality that is built into almost every smartphone on the market. Our goal is to free up the technology using an already common standard to allow everyone to access and own the information.”
A commitment to relevant exhibitors and the ability for attendees to collect and own expo contact information are components unique to the 2013 OKC Oilfield Expo and are part of what has made it the largest oil show in Oklahoma.
