"Rise Up & Build" Seminar to feature innovative ideas from the experts on designing, building and remodeling facilities to make them more relevant in today's culture, including how to leverage facilities to generate revenue for ministry growth.

Building God's Way (BGW), a nationwide church architect and builder network that provides a broad range of solutions to Christian ministries, will host a free seminar on Tuesday, October 15 at Centennial Station in High Point, NC. The event will feature expert speakers in the areas of church design, construction, remodeling, funding, growth, and the latest research and strategies for reaching millennials. Church leaders will learn how to build or retool facilities that are more culturally relevant and allow for expanded ministry opportunities in their community.

The keynote speaker for the seminar will be Roy Tucker, Senior Pastor of The Praising Place in Charlotte, NC. Pastor Tucker will share about his church's tremendous recent growth and how leadership has casted the vision to the congregation regarding their upcoming expansion and relocation plans. Pastor Tucker has also served on the Western North Carolina Evangelism and Home Missions Board where he was chairman and currently is a member of the Western North Carolina State Council. He is a sought-after preacher for camp meetings, conferences and revivals.

Michael Goldsmith, Senior Pastor of Timber Ridge Church in Catoosa, OK, will share proven strategies for creating the momentum necessary to expand ministry, break through growth barriers and successfully raise capital funds in any economic environment. As a pastor of more than 30 years, Michael has also been involved in training pastors throughout the U.S. and the world. He specializes in assisting churches in leadership development, capital campaigns, and developing effective church strategies, systems and processes for church growth and health.

BGW Architect, Don Mahoney, will discuss innovative design strategies to help make churches more relevant and effective in today's culture. Don will also share a cutting-edge master planning process that not only casts a vision for the future, but leverages land and facilities more effectively to generate revenue and sustain ministry growth. Don has an extensive background in church, school and performing arts architecture, designing prominent facilities with worship seating in the thousands. His expertise in architecture has been recognized with a number of national design awards, including multiple WFX Solomon Awards for Best Church Architect, Best Church Design, Best Special Project and Best Digital Church; The LCEF Arts & Architecture Award for Best Liturgical Design, and recognition among the 7 most innovative churches in America by Ministry Today.
