Dupont Circle Citizens Association and Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets Partner to Showcase Neighborhood
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- The Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) and Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets (HDCM) announce a new partnership. The 46th Annual House Tour and the Taste of Dupont will provide back to back showcases for some of the neighborhood’s finest homes, historic sites and eating establishments.
On Sunday, October 20, DCCA will present the 46th Annual Dupont Circle House Tour & Tea from 12 noon to 5pm. The tour features an up-close look inside an array of urban homes nestled in a leafy historic district -- from the grandest townhouses to the most charming pied-a-terre. The Carlyle Suites hosts Afternoon Tea from 2pm to 5pm, included in the ticket price. House Tour tickets are available for $40 in advance ($45 day of).
Washington Fine Properties (WFP) will be the Platinum Sponsor of the House Tour for the second year. WFP joins Gold Sponsor, Beasley Real Estate and Silver Sponsors, Attache Corporate Housing, Counselors Title, KVS Title, Stewart Title Group, and Room & Board.
This year for the first time, every house tour ticket will include one tasting ticket for HDCM’s Taste of Dupont, which takes place the following evening Monday, October 21 from 6pm to 9pm. “Taste” allows participants to create their own progressive dinner at 15+ dining establishments around Dupont Circle. Taste of Dupont tickets will be on sale ($5 each) the night of the event at the Dupont Resource Center at 9 Dupont Circle beginning at 4pm.
