Three artists from three different countries - Johnny Romeo of Australia, Dillon of US, and Jennifer Verge of Canada all have something to say through their different urban street pop Art. Their voices will boom in the new "Say What?" exhibition at the Jeanie Madsen Gallery, 1431 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica CA.

"I want my art to affect people at the gut level, this is what makes my art experience fun and purposeful" Jennifer Verge

Owner, director, curator and fashion designer Jeanie Madsen brings these 3 artists from 3 countries together to explore international cultural expressions through her favorite genre of art: urban, pop and street. Collaboratively they make for an edgy, current and very fresh exhibit.

Jennifer Verge, now residing in Venice, is an up and coming internationally known urban pop artist who incorporates found objects with with her powerful positive statements. Jennifer's successful signature style is a mixed medium of industrial materials such as pipes, chains, keys, nuts and bolts combined with inspiring or humorous messages. Jennifer wants her art to "affect people at the gut level". This is what she feels makes the whole art experience fun and purposeful. Her collection for the "Say What?" exhibit is titled "Life is what you make it": http://jenniferverge.com/

Johnny Romeo is one of the top 6 selling Urban-Pop artists in Australia. ‘Forever Young’ is his br new Editions on Paper series. The series is an exhilarating exploration of celebrity fetish and the grim seduction of extinguished youth. Romeo’s adoption of dead Hollywood icons and print media cleverly comments on mass production, media consumption and our fascination with the tragic side of Pop culture: http://johnnyromeo.net/about-bio/

Dillon is an emerging street artist that believes the buildings and the walls are where he finds his audience. My audience is the common men and women who inhabit the city. "Everyone is going through something, so I like to make something beautiful and striking and put it right in peoples’ line of site." http://destroyrebuildrepeat.com/dillon/
