Fayetteville Regional Chamber Shows Support for hCard Discounts Program
Fayetteville, N.C. (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- A new method for schools and nonprofits to raise money is now available to groups in Fayetteville, N.C.
The hCard “show and save” discount card is offering a 100 percent profit fundraising opportunity to Fayetteville schools, sport teams, religious organizations and other nonprofits that need to raise money.
Organizations can keep 100 percent of the proceeds raised by selling hCards after referring their favorite local businesses to be listed in The hCard Directory. The ad is free for these limited referrals though a $49 activation fee applies. Other groups in Fayetteville area are launching their fundraising programs with hopes of earning thousands of dollars. An organization will receive 10 extra hCards to sell if a business upgrades from the free ad to a Featured Mobile Ad.
"This community time and time again has shown tremendous support for programs that help our kids, our military and other community causes," said Brandon Plotnick, Manager, Marketing and Communications for the Fayetteville Regional Chamber. "We're happy to show our support for the hCard and what they'll be able to do to benefit the community."
The hCard® mobile app and discount card focuses on offering local savings to members at stores, restaurants, salons and much more. The “h” stands for heart and our trademark is “Funding the Heart of America.”
The mobile discount card is free to members of the military and veterans when they download “Military Discounts.” When the hCard is sold directly during the organization’s initial fundraiser, 100 percent of the proceeds go to the organization.
“Fayetteville is home to Fort Bragg and the Pope Air Force Base, which is why this partnership is so important,” said hCard founder and President Sandra Burnett. “We remain focused on helping those who serve us by protecting our freedom and safety.”
“By using the 100 percent fundraiser, organizations can earn enough funds to buy computers and help raise the level of education, or they can give a child a chance to go on a mission trip,” Burnett said. “Organizations sign up and refer businesses, and once local value is established, hCards are sold for only $20. Within four weeks, an organization can earn from $2,000 to $4,000 depending on local support. Each participating organization also has a chance to win an iPad or 100 extra hCards!”
Groups who presently participate in our online fundraising program include: {MADD, SPCA, hundreds of schools and teams}.
