Hirschfeld Theatre, which can seat approximately 1,420 audience members for musical entertainment, will host the show until January 5, 2014. Depending on ticket sales, the production may have an even longer stay on Broadway. SuperbTicketsOnline.com has reduced the price of theater tickets so that more musical buffs will have the chance to attend an upcoming performance.
The musical tells an unusual story about a young man, Charlie, who inherits a shoe factory from his father. The family-owned business is not doing well, and bankruptcy is around the corner. In order to keep the business going and preserve the jobs of the loyal employees, Charlie decides to create a new product line for the business consisting of custom boots for drag queens. He acquires a partner, Lola, to help him save the company.
Cyndi Lauper wrote the score for this entertaining show which is based on a 2005 film. The film, in turn, was based on an actual story. The Broadway production previewed at Hirschfeld Theatre in March of this year and officially opened there on April 4. Kinky Boots show tickets are available for both afternoon and evening performances, and the show will provide very enjoyable entertainment for adults and older teens.
Per an announcement that was made this month, it is planned for the musical to tour the United States next year, beginning in September in Las Vegas at Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Theatergoers who do not reside in or near the New York area will have the chance to attend a showing when the production pops up in theaters across the United States.
In May of 2013, the original cast recording of the musical came out and debuted at number one on the Billboard chart for Cast Albums. On Billboard 200, it hit number 51. The cast album for Book of Mormon was the last to do so well on the charts for musical scores of Broadway productions.
Theatergoers will want to select the show that will work out well with their schedules and acquire tickets as soon as possible. Quick action on their part is the best way to ensure that seats will not sell out for the show of their choice.
