The Thames Riviera Launch New Menu This Autumn for the Blue River Café Restaurant

As of the 24th of September, a new menu was launched at The Blue River Café for everyone to enjoy. Our resident head chef has worked closely with his team of professionals to add new dishes and further improve some of the already fantastic offers available.
The Blue River Café menu provides a range of traditional English and Mediterranean dishes all with a contemporary finish. Some of the classics on the menu include slow roasted belly of pork, seafood linguine and a roasted Mediterranean salad served with chorizo.
Some of our resident chef’s signature dishes that you can find on the new menu include:
• Pan fried sea bass fillets on a warm Mediterranean salad finished with artichokes
• Confit Gressingham duck leg served with bean cassoulet and warm ciabatta bread
• Spanish paella filled with plump king prawns, mussels, baby squid, white fish and chorizo; Served with toasted garlic ciabbata
The new menu also includes brunch, lighter lunch options and desserts and consist of traditional breakfasts, smaller sized meal portions, or sandwiches served in either ciabbata bread, wraps or thick bloomer bread.
General manager Ben Morris commented, “We are so proud to be launching our new tasty menu! In fact, we think it's our best yet, full of tasty dishes and mouth-watering treats.”
He added, “It includes a large variety of dishes, from classic home comforts, to some old favourites and some exciting new choices too. Our Chefs have been working hard to produce an eclectic menu choice that all will enjoy.”
