Schools across the nation, in response to scheduling and hiring limitations, had a challenge to increase course options for students. CSIonline Academy responded to their challenge, by offering online education classes in 2012, resulting in over 200 enrollments in the 1st year and 40% enrollment growth during September 2013, with participation across the nation.

CSIonline Academy offers classes in five world languages, electives, core classes, credit recovery classes, and Bible courses to students in grades 6 through 12 in states across the nation. Participating schools sought to enhance their own course catalogs, often limited by enrollment, scheduling, and hiring limitations. Home school families use the program to offer options they don’t feel equipped to teach themselves. This program offered each group the opportunity to offer quality curriculum, with a live teacher, without sacrificing biblical values – the niche that sets the CSIonline Academy apart from its competition.

New this year, CSIonline Academy is providing a blended learning format to high school students. Blended learning schools have students participating in CSIonline Academy online courses for half their day, then offering in-seat courses and community service activities to create a unique learning opportunity. The flexibility of blended learning allows students to take courses either during their school day, or after school hours.

CSIonline Academy is a program of Christian Schools International, which supports Christian schools in the U.S. and around the world with curriculum products, a pension plan, benefit programs, leadership training, and consultation services.
