In a grassroots effort to improve the overall quality of health care that is provided to the consuming public, the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP) is reaching out to health care students by offering a greatly reduced ABQAURP membership price to students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate education.

You have committed yourself to helping others and achieving a high standard of knowledge and experience, but can you gauge the level of quality and excellence you provide?

ABQAURP understands that the path to excellence starts very early on in the health care arena and hopes to expose student members to patient safety and quality health care education and initiatives at a time where it will be easily absorbed and adopted into their everyday practice. They realize too that excellence requires dedication not only to your academic knowledge, but also to how you apply that knowledge to your profession.

Designed as an introduction to ABQAURP, the non-profit organization hopes this membership option will offer guidance and education (from top industry professionals) resulting in increased knowledge and best practices to shape a better, safer, and higher quality health care arena for all.

Student Membership was designed to give cost effective access to:

  •     ABQAURP’s Career Center
  •     Opportunities to connect with a diverse and informed network of your peers
  •     ABQAURP education courses and events at substantially reduced rates
  •     Subscription to Patient Safety & Quality Healthcare, ABQAURP’s sponsored bi-monthly magazine dedicated to health care quality
  •     Tools to satisfy continuing education requirements and achieve professional certification

Affordable yearly membership dues are $29.00 with a one-time application fee of $19.00. As a special introductory offer for this new membership, ABQAURP is also offering a complimentary continuing education course on Transitions of Care to members who enroll before December 31, 2013.
