The Best and Brightest of the Natural Hair and Wellness Industry Gather at the Nashville Natural Hair & Wellness Concert and Expo
Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 -- The spotlight is on for Nashville Natural Hair & Wellness Concert and Expo on the 5th and 6th of October in Nashville, Tennessee. This will be Nashville’s first ever natural hair concert and expo happening in a two-day event at Tennessee State University (TSU) Gentry Center Complex. The best and brightest of the natural hair and wellness industry will gather to promote Optimal Health and Beauty for All. The concert and expo will provide a platform where natural hair women, health and wellness professionals, healthy lifestyle advocates, state and local government, and residents of Tennessee can create meaningful connections for the benefit of the community’s health and wellness. The event will commence with the concert on the 5th of October, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and will then continue on to the expo on the 6th of October, 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Nashville Natural Hair and Wellness Concert on October 5th (Saturday) is the first of its kind and promises a lineup of great musical performances from Eric Benet, Elle Varner and Kindred the Family Soul. TSU will provide plenty of free parking and a concession stand with healthy food. A night of music therapy and positive reinforcement of natural hair, beauty, health and wellness goals awaits attendees.
Elle Varner and Kindred the Family Soul will keep the beat on from the concert all the way through the Nashville Natural Hair and Wellness Expo on October 6th (Sunday). They will be joined by international recording artist Kenny Lattimore. Curly Nikki will also be mixing and mingling with the crowd of four thousand natural hair and health enthusiasts at the event. Professional styling and natural hair consumer classes with celebrity stylists Felicia Leatherwood and Deshonica Kerrie are a must-see for aspiring natural hair professionals and even to those who prefer to take matters into their own hands. Participants will also have a chance to get their hair done for free at the Pop-up Salon (further details at ticket section); get facial, manicure and massages at a pampering section at the expo. Activities that promote optimal health and beauty such as health screenings, breast cancer awareness information, yoga and kickboxing are also on board. The Natural Hair Boot Camp presentation and product/service demonstration from trusted brands/vendors will complete the event’s ultimate purpose of delivering natural hair, beauty, health and wellness solutions to Tennessee.
