Atlanta, Ga (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, announced that T.E.N. has been chosen as a finalist for the 2013 Excalibur Awards in the category for small companies.
T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, was nominated for the award because of their innovative use of technology solutions to address business-critical issues. The firm partnered with Intralinks and Gather Digital in order to improve the experience for award finalists and attendees participating in its flagship program, the Information Security Executive® of the Year Program Series and Awards.
In the spirit of celebration, T.E.N. recognizes the accomplishments of the security executives who are award finalists by creating video vignettes. To create a better user experience and streamline production, T.E.N. implemented Intralinks VIA, a scalable SaaS platform that empowers people inside and outside an organization to collaborate and share content by leveraging the tools they already use. Intralinks VIA solved the security, technical and operational issues involved in the material collection and production processes.
Additionally, T.E.N. leveraged GatherDigital to create a native mobile App for the ISE® Programs. The App empowers T.E.N. to leverage the full power of mobile for the ISE® Executive Forum and Awards events and deliver an improved customer and attendee experience, who can now view their personal itineraries, access presentations in real time, review all event details and engage with speakers and sponsors via social media. The app has also enabled T.E.N. to provide more accurate content, improve value for sponsors and increase it’s sponsorship sales.
“The T.E.N. team is dedicated delivering to program excellence and superior customer service while continually adapting to a changing business marketplace and social media expectations,” said T.E.N. CEO and President Marci McCarthy. “We especially look for ways to add value through technology, and I believe we have successfully accomplished this via our partnerships with Intralinks and Gather Digital.”
T.E.N. was selected as a finalist from among over 300 applications submitted by companies and organizations from across Georgia. Winners will be officially recognized at the 2013 Excalibur Awards ceremony on October 18, 2013 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Ga.
“We are truly pleased to honor the recipients of the 2013 Excalibur Awards,” said TAG CEO and President Tino Mantella. “This year’s competition was fierce, as we had our largest and best group of entrees since our event’s origin, eight years ago. We believe celebrating these tech-enabled companies and organizations strengthens our message of Georgia’s emerging position as a national leader in technology.”
The Annual Excalibur Awards celebrates Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology, typically provided by a third-party, to solve complex issues and processes in business and education.
