Telaid, a leading technology integrator specializing in multi-site deployments, today announced that retail loss prevention veteran Keith Aubele will join Telaid as a Senior Advisor to the Executive Management team.
Specializing in multi-site technology deployments and implementation of state-of-the art security, safety, IT and wireless solutions, Telaid has implemented systems for several of the world’s largest retailers. Expanding its focus to physical security and asset protection, Telaid now offers IP security, IDS and fire, along with their core IT Deployment and Lifecycle expertise, providing retailers a single resource for a full breadth of technologies required to operate their stores.
"With more than 30 years of experience in retail asset protection and loss prevention, Keith brings a depth and breadth of retail expertise. Keith will help us continue to meet the unique challenges and ever-changing dynamics of the retail industry. That insight will allow us to deliver the most innovative, retail-specific technology integration service offerings available,” said Scott Patsiga, president of Telaid.
Aubele’s experience includes an 18-year career at Wal-Mart, where he was chosen by founder Sam Walton to pioneer a cutting-edge program that significantly reduced shrink. At The Home Depot, Aubele spearheaded an LP initiative that drove shrink to the lowest in the company’s history. Aubele holds a Master of Science in Business Management and has earned the Loss Prevention Professional (LPP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designations, as awarded by Missouri Southern State University and the American Society of Industrial Security, respectively. He currently serves as the ASIS International Retail Council Chairperson.
“Telaid is uniquely positioned as an IT security integrator with a core security practice complemented by its heritage as IT deployment and infrastructure experts. They are passionate and disciplined about developing every service offering with the end user in mind. I’m excited to be a part of this effort to help retailers select, implement and leverage the full range of technologies available to increase their effectiveness, efficiency, and ultimately the bottom line,” said Aubele.
