Herald Square Dental Team Participates in the Walk Against Breast Cancer 2013 Campaign
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- October is the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Herald Square Dental is very proud to announce that, this year, their office is participating in the Walk against Breast Cancer in Central Park. The purpose of the walk is to bring awareness, fund raise and contribute to the fight against Breast Cancer.
The walk will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 8 a.m. starting at E 72nd Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Herald Square Dental invites those interested to join their team.
Why do they walk?
It is unfortunate, but Breast Cancer has become so common that almost everyone either has a family member or relative affected by it, or has lost someone close due to the illness. Herald Square Dental believes that when everyone joins together, a cure is possible.
Herald Square Dental encourages everyone to express their support for Breast Cancer survivors and those who could not beat the disease. By taking part in this event, all have the chance to sponsor critical research in an effort to find a cure, raise awareness by encouraging and empowering women to take charge of their own breast health.
The American Cancer Society has been saving lives for over 100 years. Today, they are helping save more than 400 lives a day that would have otherwise been lost to cancer. Herald Square Dental wants to remind everyone that the donations are tax deductible.
