Dr. Charles Whitney of Revolutionary Health Services Named “One of the Best of Bucks”
Washington Crossing, PA (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 -- The "Best of Bucks" is an annual poll of Bucks County Courier Times subscribers who select the "Best of Bucks" from 130 categories including food and entertainment, services and shopping.
According to Dr. Whitney, “Being recognized as one of Bucks County’s best physicians is a great honor, given that our community has such an impressive network of highly-qualified healthcare professionals.”
After the readers’ poll was tabulated, Dr. Whitney came in second to Dr. George Cautilli, an orthopedic surgeon who was an orthopedic resident while Dr. Whitney was an intern at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. “I think it’s great that two doctors who came up through the same system are being recognized as “Best of Bucks” physicians. Congratulations, Dr. Cautilli!”
2013 has been a year of professional recognition for Dr. Whitney who is double board certified in the specialties of family medicine and sports medicine. In March, he was named one of America's “Top Docs” in concierge medicine, also known as direct primary care medicine by the editors of Concierge Medicine Today (CMT). Dr. Whitney was the only physician in Pennsylvania to receive this award.
Dr. Whitney is also prominently featured as a medical expert in the public service documentary entitled “Say Ah-h-h!” which examines the critical links between oral health and overall physical health. The documentary will be shown at private theater screenings beginning in October.
