RPR interns working alongside the firm’s Associate Publicists and senior staff will obtain hands-on public relations experience by providing vital account support to clients across a wide spectrum of industries including the real estate, corporate and financial, hospitality, health and wellness, non-profit and entertainment sectors.
“We are fortunate to have procured a talented group of students for our Fall 2013 Internship Program,” Rubenstein said. “A select few of our past interns have gone on to secure full time positions at RPR and we look forward to working with our newest interns to develop their potential.”
Interns are engaged in a comprehensive suite of public relations activities including event management, media outreach and pitch development, client relationship building, and other essential support efforts. Upon completion of the program which runs through the Fall semester, interns will have had the opportunity to hone their written and verbal communication skills in addition to enhancing their perspective on the domestic media landscape. Interns are exposed to a variety of high profile clients and events including a red carpet launch of a high-profile dating website, the debut of a cosmetics line, and planning foreign press events for tourism and hospitality accounts.
