Morey’s Seafood International Launches “Big Catch” Giveaway Promotion with Nearly $1,500 in Giveaways via Facebook
Motley, MN (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- Morey’s brings restaurant quality fish and seafood into your home. A wide variety of delicious frozen and smoked creations are available in national grocery and club stores. Beginning October 1, Morey’s will be launching a month-long “Big Catch” Giveaway that includes weekly giveaways via Facebook AND a recipe contest component that will award three winners. Total giveaways throughout the month will total nearly $1,500.
Prizes include cookware and accessories from top name brands, Visa gift cards and various assortments of Morey’s frozen Fish Creations® and Shrimp Creations®. Weekly prizes will be provided to a single winner each Monday in October from among Facebook fans picked who comment, like or share a Morey’s post (or retweet or reply to Morey’s tweets via Twitter). In addition, fans that submit an original recipe and photo featuring a dish prepared with Morey’s product will be eligible for additional prizes, including a grand prize worth $500. Once finalists are determined from the pool of recipe submissions, the three winners will be determined based on fan voting in early November.
The Morey’s Big Catch Giveaway comes on the heels of Morey’s successful “Fresh Recipes” Contest in July. Morey’s fan, Heidi Proetz Burns, won the grand prize for her Wild Salmon Dill Wrap recipe. The new promotion in October will, again, welcome recipes but also reward select fans for simply responding to posts on Facebook and Twitter. Entries made to the recipe portion of the promotion can be an appetizer, entrée, salad or even a dessert. Winning entries will be based on both creativity and ease of preparation, as well as visual appeal. Winning entries will be featured on Facebook and in the recipe section of Moreys.com
