New STAR EnviroTech Capless Double Door Fuel Neck Adapter

"The companies who earned this award were visionary to recognize a need and inventive enough to design a product that satisfied that need."

Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 03, 2013

STAR EnviroTech’s Capless Fuel Neck Adapter is the recipient of MOTOR Magazine’s 2013 Top 20 Tools Award. The adapter provides an OEM-quality fit for all new Ford and GM double-door capless fuel necks, and was selected by the panel of judges based on its standout originality that made judges say “Wow! We’ve never seen anything like this before.”

Unlike adapters for capped fuel tanks that attach outside the fuel neck, the Capless Fuel Neck Adapter slips through the double doors, securely seals with a twist, and works with any leak detection device to perform EVAP system tests, especially pressure/vacuum decay and smoke leak testing. It's made of aluminum and other rugged, fuel-resistant substrates to ensure a long-working life and is backed by a five-year warranty.

"The importance of good tools can't be overstated," said John Lypen MOTOR Magazine Editor and Publisher. "The companies who earned this award were visionary to recognize a need and inventive enough to design a product that satisfied that need. Congratulations to each award winner,"

This is STAR’s fourth invention to win this prestigious award.

The Capless Fuel Neck Adapter also won the Innovation Award presented by Professional Tool and Equipment News (PTEN) magazine under the Smoke Wizard brand.

STAR EnviroTech is the inventor/licensor of the Diagnostic Smoke® leak detection technology that is inside every OEM-mandated smoke machine in the world. Diagnostic Smoke quickly finds leaks in vehicle systems by introducing vapor into an automotive system. The exiting smoke vapor, and/or the fluorescent dye shows the exact location of a leak. If you see the smoke or the dye, you've found the leak! STAR EnviroTech also holds patents on the only contaminant-free smoke dye approved by automakers.

STAR EnviroTech does not sell its technology; it licenses it to selected tool manufacturers.
