To serve the word of God with Bible based preaching/teaching/mission and outreach fbo the community of Irvine because the God declares all people should come into the knowledge of Christ thus “the calling” to spread the gospel of Christ to all the world.

Pastor Teka has recently resigned from the Significant African Methodist Episcopal Church, a Worldwide Christian Denomination, with the Blessings of her Mentor, Pastor Mark E. Whitlock of the largest Black Church in Orange County. Pastor Teka has faithfully served the AMEC as an Ordained Elder within two (2) of the most Prominent of the AME Churches, namely, New Philadelphia AME and Christ Our Redeemer AME for total tenure since 2003. Light of the World Wisdom Ministries desires Diversity in Worship with a Vision that includes all races of people in its leadership, and is dedicated to fulfilling our mission to God and to Serve our community with a focus on stewardship and a dedication to enacting programs to benefit chronically under-served sectors of our population through outreach programs that will be administered through our partnering Community Development Arm, LOTWWM-CDD to begin January, 2014.."Multi-racial congregants enjoy the Gospel and the Preached Word, but often feel that the AMEC is not truly diverse when they visit the main website that shows predominantly black leadership so my desire is to be truly all inclusive of all people without denominational bearers or stigmas attached to the church Light of the World," said TEKA.

We strive…our Mission…

To Enhance Lives by ministering to the spiritual and community needs of all people by teaching the Love of God from the Gospel of Jesus Christ and empowering people to understand liberation that comes from the indwelling and divine power of the Holy Spirit.

To Provide Formal Educational and Vocational Instruction to individuals by encouraging the heart through spiritual enrichment and formation, and inspiring individuals to make healthy choices for a healthier lifestyle.

To Provide Spiritual Formation: This aspect takes a comprehensive approach in personal development as the person becomes goal-driven, understands conflict resolution, and is spiritually grounded. This is in all attempts, means, instruction, and disciplines intended towards deepening of faith and furtherance of spiritual growth. It includes educational endeavors as well as the more intimate and in-depth process of spiritual direction.

To Educate members of the community in the home buying process.

The Primary Group called Family Prayer and Praise night will be held on Wednesday @ 6P, and a Prayer Line every Wednesday @ 6A (see web site).

Light of the World has a focus on Family teaching Simple Gospel that even children can understand so that families are united on Sundays and at least once weekly because Careers and Life have caused too much family separation, and we believe God ordains Family to Faith and Unity even in the Community of All Christians.
