Multifamily Leaders Meet in Park City for Property Solutions’ Inaugural Summit
Lehi, UT (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- Property Solutions®, the multifamily industry's open-access Platform as a Service (PaaS) provider, hosted the inaugural Property Solutions Summit: Portals to Platforms in Park City, Utah last week with approximately 100 companies represented by a delegation of more than 200 multifamily industry executives and professionals. During the event, several upcoming releases were announced, Inspection Manager, Entrata™ Tablet, and Business Intelligence, underscoring Property Solutions’ commitment to delivering intuitive, single-platform technology, with open and agile third-party integrations at zero cost.
“Hearing about products such as Business Intelligence, I’m incredibly excited about the potential to be able to use our data in ways that everyone has been wanting to do for years, but has been hamstrung with other systems,” said Eric Matulka, DEI Communities Vice President of IT. “Tools like this, along with its mobile functionality, can help us make actionable decisions for our communities without the significant investment of building it from scratch. We can rely on Property Solutions to do the heavy lifting.”
“We love the concept of the platform,” said Vanguard Residential’s Robbie Mauzy. The seamless functionality of Property Solutions’ Entrata PaaS was a recurring theme throughout the Summit sessions. “It’s important for ease-of-use for our staff members, and avoiding the confusion that results from a mix of separate software pieces. It’s also an assurance to current and prospective clients because you can show them the powerful integrations and simplicity.”
“Over the course of the Summit, I witnessed a common ‘aha moment’ among participants that there is now a clear and distinctively different choice for organizations looking to leverage technology to improve their ability to operate their real estate,” said Dennis Smillie, President of Multifamily Solutions Inc. “For the last decade, the industry has felt tremendous frustration over legacy systems with prohibitive, insular business practices. But the option that Property Solutions now offers is huge: a single platform, built upon a single database, and supported by an open, cooperative approach to both clients and competing products.”
“There’s no question that Property Solutions not only voices an open and transparent approach to business, but in actual practice, they walk the walk. It’s a welcome divergence from the status quo,” said DEI Senior Vice President Doug Hastings. Eric Matulka added, “There were a couple of times during the sessions where we would turn to each other and say, ‘That’s a game-changer. We need to be a part of that.’ Sometimes you see potential in a product that relates in a way so real to your business, that you want to be involved in those beta opportunities to have direct access to the engineers and development decisions.”
Property Solutions’ next user conference is tentatively slated for September 2014. Reflecting on this year’s inaugural Summit experience, Robbie Mauzy said, “The entire event was great. The sessions were informative and fast-paced, so you move right through and learn a lot. We’ve had an amazing time, and definitely hope to come to the next Summit.” Session recaps and slides will be available in the coming weeks at http://propertysolutions.com/blog.
