Ghosts, Haunted Transportation and Mysteries of the Paranormal: Coming to a Library Near You This October
Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 -- Whether you believe in ghosts or other aspects of the paranormal, every culture has its folklore and many, many people have had an experience they simply can't explain. L'Aura Hladik decided to investigate for herself, so she started with her home state of New Jersey. "Ghosthunting New Jersey" ($14.95, Clerisy Press), examines more than 30 of the spookiest haunts, from museums and colleges to theaters and churches, all over the Garden State. The results might surprise even the most devout skeptics. In 2010, Hladik’s book, also part of the America’s Haunted Road Trip series, “Ghosthunting New York City” ($15.95, Clerisy Press) uncovered the many haunted and historical sites in the Big Apple open to the public to explore and enjoy. Whether seeing a Broadway show or having a great meal, New York City has plenty of haunted sites to visit.
"The true ghost hunter is all about the research and figuring out how and why something happened and whether it could happen again if the conditions were controlled," says L'Aura in the book's introduction. "Reading these books will give you historical background and possible explanations for the haunting at each place. These are not the last word on ghosts and their places of inhabitance. They’re a guide. You'll get an idea of what to look for, but the rest is up to you. Happy Hunting!"
