"Duck Dynasty" Stars and Debora-Lee Furness to Receive National Adoption Award in Washington, DC

Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute to recognize celebrities’ work on behalf of children.

Willie and Korie Robertson and Deborra-lee Furness will receive the 15th Annual Angels in Adoption™ award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute on October 9 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The Duck Dynasty stars and Deborra-lee Furness and her husband both built their family through adoption and are devoted to helping children around the world.

Joining them on the stage for her work on behalf of adoption will be Rita Benson LeBlanc, co-owner of NFL team the New Orleans Saints, and Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, whose real life adoption story was the basis of the best-selling book and Academy Award nominated film, The Blindside.

The honorees and Members of Congress will be available for photo opportunities and comment at the event.
