(PRWEB) October 04, 2013 -- NPI Global Export, a division of Nutritional Products International that helps nutrition, health and wellness and personal care brands export their products to global markets, opens a new office in Milan, Italy.
The company, based in Boca Raton, Fla., offers manufacturers complete access to markets across more than 100 countries throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and North and South America. The company’s established global distribution and marketing infrastructure allows its clients to tap directly into specific markets and experience real growth without the lengthy startup times or logistical difficulties that typically accompany global commerce.
“Our new office in Milan will better serve NPI Global Export’s varied clients throughout Europe, providing a more local presence in this very key area of the world,” said Mitch Gould, CEO of NPI. “This expansion will allow us to give our customers a more ‘boots on the ground’ representation in Europe, and will enable brands to engage more directly with distributors, vendors and manufacturers in the region.”
Heading up the Milan office will be NPI International Advisor Stefano Barberini, who will split his time between the company’s Boca Raton and Milan offices. As a result, American manufacturers will benefit from both Barberini’s expertise and his work in Italy.
Barberini is fluent in six languages and has worked within the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries for decades. Having begun his career with Bonomelli Pharmaceuticals in 1989, and later working for Docteur Nature Industries, Barberini served as a sales representative and later went on to invent a number of medical devices in the pharmaceutical field. As the head of NPI’s Milan offices, he will leverage his expertise and years of experience to help the firm’s clients navigate the issues of sales, distribution and marketing across the European market.
“NPI Global Export is an indispensable resource for companies looking to expand their operations on a global scale,” said Gould. “We offer our clients intimate knowledge of specific markets, as well as the established infrastructure that will allow them to better increase their presence and sales within those foreign locales. Our new office in Milan will help product manufacturers gain a strong foothold abroad.”
