The prestigious tourism and travel publication gives seven 2013 Magellan Awards to The Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences group and its hotels, the Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park, Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club and Sunset Royal Beach Resort.
Travel Weekly, one of the most important tourism publications in the world, gave the Sunset World Resort & Vacation Experiences and its hotels these coveted awards that are handed over each year to the best tourism companies from around the world.
The prestigious editorial group highlighted the fact that the Magellan Gold Awards were handed over to the Hacienda Tres Ríos in the Family Hotel and Room Design categories, while the Sunset Marina received an award for being one of the best waterfront hotel/resorts.
The Sunset World group also received four Magellan Silver Awards for the Hacienda Tres Ríos hotel in the Family Resort category, and the Sunset Royal Beach received another award for room design on Elite Floors. The hotel chain was also given two silver awards for its promotional video and its Vacation Club Share system loyalty program.
Notably this is the fourth consecutive year that the Hacienda Tres Ríos has received this prestigious award. It has received 16 awards in different categories since 2010, 7 of which are gold and 9 silver.
