Sur La Table and Creative Retail Packaging Receive Gold Award for Holiday Program in 2014 Graphis International Design Annual Competition

Selected as one of 100 international applicants, Graphis International Design Journal recognized the design of Sur La Table’s 2012 holiday program with the 2014 Design Annual Gold Award for Retail.

Receiving a Graphis Gold Award for this program is a true honor and testament to the talented team that contributed to the finished product.

Creative Retail Packaging, Inc.’s Design team was recently awarded the Graphis Design Annual 2014 Gold Award in the Retail category for Sur La Table’s 2012 holiday program. One of 100 companies worldwide to receive this prestigious honor, the Graphis Gold Award recognizes the world's most significant and influential works from the greatest talent in Design, Advertising, and Photography.

Using fun, playful twists on traditional holiday phrases and icons, Sur La Table’s 2012 holiday program celebrated a lighthearted sense of excitement and joy for food and cooking during the holiday season. This campaign was also successful at strategically highlighting significant values and innovative gift items for cooks, bakers and entertainers – streamlining the shopping experience and helping to save time for customers. CRP Design collaborated with Sur La Table to design the holiday shopping bags, gift cards, and store signage.

“It was a great privilege working alongside Sur la Table for their holiday program. From bags to signage, we enjoyed coming up with ways to make the holiday shopping environment fun and upbeat from the moment customers walked in the store to the moment they watched their loved ones open the perfect gift.
