"Save America Gathering" Says "Put Your Faith in God, Not Politicians, and Pray for the U.S.A."

The planners of the 555-day-long prayer initiative, "555 Days of Prayer to Save America," are calling on Americans to put their faith in God, not politicians, and pray for the U.S.A.
""Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies." That is what Psalms 40:4 says. But, we seem to have placed our trust in both, the proud, as well as those who turn aside to lies," began Robert Berry, frequent spokesman for "Save America Gathering," the California based Christian non-profit organization that is responsible for administration and planning of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America."
"Psalms 118:8 says "[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." A lot of Americans are upset with people with whom they have placed their trust. The point is, they are people whom we are trusting. If you don't want disappointment, trust in God in all things, and whatever happens, you still will be able to trust God. If things go the way you want, trust God. If things do not go the way you want, trust God." Trust God to lead you to want what is right for you. Trust God. Now, if you trust Him, you have to talk to Him. Prayer is required, not optional. You wouldn't have a car with optional engine. Life without prayer is like taking the no-engine car option.
Funny, but, people of all kinds of faiths and cultures cry out to Jesus, in time of trouble. Prayer is life's engine, and we need an engine overhaul, in the United States of America," Berry finished.
"555 Days of Prayer to Save America" has reached day 213, today. The next 100-day-long prayer segment which will begin on November 15, 2013, will be the crucial prayer of intercession for the sins and shortcomings of the United States of America. This is a key function of the entire 555-day-long prayer event.
