For the 28th year in a row, San Diego's world famous Zoo will be participating in Kids Free October, which is hosted by Mission Fed. For the 6th year in a row the Zoo's Safari Park is participating in this family-friendly October event as well.

Fisher-Price® Little People™ Live Musical Show:
-October 5th and 6th 2013 with two performances each day at 11am and 2pm.
-The show runs for 30 minutes.
-This brand new, interactive show is performed by costumed characters!
-The Fisher-Price® show is geared towards children 5 or younger.
-Located in the San Diego Zoo's Hunte Amphitheater
San Diego Zoo Animal Encounters:
-Animal Encounters usually run at least once or twice per day, with times varying depending on which enclosure you're visiting.
-Kids can meet an Animal Ambassador up close and personal.
-Kids will love getting to see the animals up close, and parents will want to take advantage of this photo-op.
-Takes place daily at 3:30pm in the Safari Park.
