Seasoned Records Management Professional, James Merrifield Joins the FileTrail Team

Merrifield is a recognized leader, instructor and advisor in Information Governance and Records Management. Prior to FileTrail, he was the Records Information Manager at Finn Dixon & Herling LLP, where he established and maintained the firm’s records and information management program. Jim is also co-founder of Edward Allen Group, a training and consulting company.
Jim holds a bachelor degree in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac University. He holds both the certified Information Governance Professional (IGP) and Certified Information Professional (CIP) designations. Jim currently serves on the MARA (Master’s in Archives and Records Administration) Program Advisory Committee at San Jose State University and is an AIIM Certified Training and Education Partner. Jim is a committed volunteer in his professional community and currently serves as President of the ARMA Connecticut Chapter.
