Digital Marketing Remix Launches Remixer B2B Display Advertising Awards to Honor this Year’s Best Online Display Creative

Marketing experts from Forrester Research, IDG Enterprise, and other leading companies join Digital Marketing Remix to select winners; submission deadline is October 16, 2013.

Digital Marketing Remix, a news and community website produced by Bizo that keeps B2B marketers up-to-date with the latest in digital marketing, today announced the Remixer B2B Display Advertising Awards. The awards celebrate the best examples of B2B online display advertising creative, including traditional static advertising, rich media, video and text-based ads used on social media networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

“Creative for online display advertising can be quite challenging to develop, in part because of the small canvas provided by a 300x250-pixel box,” said Sean Callahan, editor of the Digital Marketing Remix. “Despite the limitations, truly innovative B2B creative is being produced, which is critical to making display ads resonate with an audience. The Remixer B2B Display Advertising Awards will give break-through ad creative the spotlight it deserves.”

Ads submitted for consideration to the Remixer B2B Display Advertising Awards will be judged based on performance, as well as the five basic elements of good online display creative: an arresting visual, intriguing headline, singular message, logo that is properly sized in relation to other visual elements, and a compelling call-to-action. Ads submitted must have run between October 1, 2012, and October 1, 2013.

The Digital Marketing Remix also today announced the panel of judges that will choose the winning entries in the Remixer B2B Display Advertising Awards.

The panel of judges features a who’s who of leaders in B2B marketing, advertising, publishing, ad technology and research:
