AAES Endorses 2nd Annual New York Masters Course In Endocrine Surgery, December 6th and 7th, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- The Second Annual New York Masters Course in Endocrine Surgery, endorsed by the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES), will take place December 6-7, 2013, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, 1470 Madison Avenue at 101st Street, New York, NY.
The course will conduct an intensive review of key endocrine surgery topics and trends. In addition to basic and controversial topics in thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pancreas surgery, the sessions will cover familial and neuroendocrine topics that are relevant to clinicians with an interest in endocrine surgery. Current trends and techniques in minimally invasive surgery will be emphasized with demonstrations of endoscopic thyroidectomy and minimally invasive parathyroidectomy.
Joining the New York faculty will be three guest experts: Robert Udelsman,MD, FACS (Yale School of Medicine), Richard A Prinz, MD, FACS (NorthShore University) and Douglas L. Fraker MD, FACS (University of Pennsylvania).
