Best Beer Bar in Baltimore, Max's Taphouse Supports the Improved Fell's Point Fun Festival 2013
Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) October 05, 2013 -- The Best Beer Bar in Baltimore, Max's Taphouse (http://www.maxs.com) supports Fell's Point Main Streets improvements to this year's Fell's Point Fun Festival. Fell's Point Main Street which has taken over the management of the Fell's Point Fun Festival for the benefit of the Preservation Society, has introduced many new captivating and alluring features to this year's Fell's Point Fun Festival to be held Friday, October 4th through Sunday, October 6th.
Max's Taphouse supports the implementing of new ideas gathered from the community that will improve the festival experience for residents, attendees and businesses; Fell's Point Main Street is proud to announce that this year's festival will open Friday night in Broadway Square with an opening party featuring Split Decision, a Philadelphia based band. Saturday and Sunday, the festival will take place from 11 am until 7 pm and feature a Crab Picking Block Party, Wine Garden, 4 Entertainment Gardens, Busking Stages, food truck rally, new international plaza with a food eating contest as well as entertainment throughout the festival including special entertainment in our Kiddie Corner for those 10 and under.
"One of the most exciting features of this year's festival is that we have moved into the 21st century with a mobile app for your smart phone, and once again you can stroll the festival foot path with an alcoholic beverage in your hand during festival hours. With this app, you will be able to view the band schedule, see a map of the entire festival, and experience Fell's Point by following information on historical features in our community," said Mike Maraziti, owner of One-Eyed Mike's in Fell's Point and President of Fell's Point Main Street. "This year's new additions, along with bringing back the ability to walk with your alcoholic beverage on the festival footpath, allows this to be the street festival it was originally designed to be," said Ron Furman, owner of Max's Taphouse. "We are excited to see it return to its roots," states Furman.
This year's festival will create a fun-filled atmosphere for all ages to enjoy and is sure to create a memorable experience for all those in attendance. With the emergence of these newly added attractions to the festival, the festival is looking to have over 200,000+ attendees all of whom will be astonished by the diversity and multiplicity of vendors, sponsors, entertainment, and attractions that this year's festival has to offer.
