Governor John R. Kasich Visits Hartzell Air Movement
Piqua, Ohio (PRWEB) October 05, 2013 -- Hartzell Air Movement was honored to have Ohio Governor John Kasich at their new large fan facility. The main reason for the visit was to celebrate the successful first year of the Ohio Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program and to kick off the second year of the program. The Governor spoke of the importance of the OIWTVP and urged other businesses to get involved. He also met with the leaders of the Hartzell family companies to discuss other small business issues.
President of Hartzell Air Movement, Sean Steimle spoke at the event stating, “In order for a business to remain competitive, their employees need to have the proper training and education.”
Hartzell participated in this voucher program by supplying some of their employees with Lean training, Solid Works training, and other various computer training. Madan Baral, Senior Project Engineer at Hartzell Air Movement also spoke that day explaining, “The SolidWorks training that I received has also helped me grow individually and become a more well-rounded professional engineer.” SolidWorks is a nationally recognized engineering software program, which allows Hartzell Air Movement to create detailed drawings as well as new designs for the company’s industrial fans throughout the marine, heavy industry, high-technology/semiconductor, water and wastewater, and power generation markets.
