RAS & Associates' Managing Partner Brett Petruzzi Joins Associate Board for ACE Scholarships
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- RAS & Associates, a leading strategy and management consulting firm headquartered in Denver, announces that Managing Partner, Brett Petruzzi, has been accepted to the Associate Board for ACE Scholarships, a Denver-based nonprofit focused on providing partial scholarships to Colorado children with financial need. Through charitable contributions, ACE provides scholarships to low-income children in grades K-12 so they may attend a quality private school and get the head start they need to be successful in college, in their career and in life.
As an ACE associate board member, Petruzzi will work with local organizations and companies to raise awareness and financial support for ACE so that more Colorado children can gain access to the school environment that will serve them best. ACE has provided more than 12,000 scholarships since its inception in 2000; however, the nonprofit has been forced to turn away thousands of children during that time due to a lack of funds. The overarching goal of the ACE associate board members will be to add to the already outstanding numbers of children helped.
"ACE Scholarships is the only organization of its kind in Colorado that empowers low-income families with the financial leverage to access high-quality education options," says Petruzzi. "My own children are the same age as many who benefit from this organization, and that's one of the reasons I identify so strongly with this vital effort that has changed so many lives for the better."
"The Associate Board's commitment to ACE Scholarships' growth will have a profound impact on our ability to reach more children in 2014," says Norton Rainey, Executive Director of ACE Scholarships. "By making a positive change in academic performance, graduation rates and college matriculation, ACE has helped many children from low-income families obtain the skills needed to become confident, successful individuals."
With more than 15 years of process and strategy consulting experience, Petruzzi specializes in streamlining operational processes and identifying cost effective solutions to rectify organizational inefficiencies. He has partnered with multiple Denver executives on initiatives related to process re-engineering, systems design and development, quality assurance, and program management.
