The campaign will be promoted through various Kellyco digital assets, including email marketing, social media and an online “pink out”, or pink visual takeover of the KellycoDetectors.com web site.
As a reminder to stay vigilant in the fight against breast cancer, from Friday, October 4 through Monday October 7, 2013, a percentage of all sales made through KellycoDetectors.com will be donated to the American Cancer Society Central Florida Area to help in the early detection and prevention of breast cancer.
“Inspect and detect doesn’t just apply to the hobby of treasure hunting and metal detecting,” said Daryl Logullo, Director of Ecommerce & Marketing of Kellyco. “For over 100 years, the American Cancer Society has been relentless at finding a cure for cancer and I’m proud that Kellyco is supporting such an important cause.”
This is Kellyco’s first year at raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer. To engage further support and awareness of the campaign, Kellyco will harness Facebook and Twitter to raise awareness and drive visitors and sales to benefit the campaign, while celebrating survivorship and honoring and remembering the women and men who have lost their fight with breast cancer.
Kellyco also has recently introduced the Duck Commander® line of outdoor apparel to their showroom shelves from the popular A&E television show Duck Dynasty, including pink t-shirts and visors, available for purchase to show support for breast cancer awareness.
