Baum is a seasoned entrepreneur who brings more than 25 years of experience growing and managing cutting-edge technology businesses in Boston. Baum recently served as President and CEO of data warehousing and analytics company Netezza, where he led the company through 14 quarters of growth as a public company, leading up to its acquisition by IBM. Prior to Netezza, Baum was President and CEO of Endeca Technologies, an enterprise information management company later acquired by Oracle. Previously, he worked in various positions across product management, marketing and strategy at PTC.

Baum also serves on the board of other high technology startups and is a trustee of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He received a BS in mechanical engineering from WPI, and an MS in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Baum joins the Evergage Board of Directors as its first Chairman, serving alongside other notable board members Jit Saxena and David Martirano from Point Judith Capital.
