Mainstreethost, an Amherst-based digital marketing agency, has solidified sponsorship of the Buffalo Sabres for the 2013-14 season as part of the organization’s Silver Sword Club.
Mainstreethost, which was founded in 1999 by Buffalo native Michael Marranca, will have permanent signage in the First Niagara Center for all events during the forthcoming National Hockey League season, along with other events at the downtown arena. Furthermore, Mainstreethost has agreed to be an official sponsor of two Buffalo Sabres broadcasts.
“We’re very excited to begin what we hope is a long-term relationship with the Buffalo Sabres,” said Mainstreethost Executive Vice President Ross Marranca. “As a local family owned business, we’re proud to sponsor our hometown team, and we’re very excited about the potential branding opportunities this presents.”
Signage in First Niagara Center will be located just above the 200 Section, while a digital graphic will run throughout each home game on the electronic ribbon board located above the 200 Section.
Meanwhile, Mainstreethost will have a digital graphic banner displayed on the glass behind each goal net that will air on the local television broadcasts during the following home games: Oct. 4 vs. Ottawa, Oct. 28 vs. Dallas, Nov. 15 vs. Toronto and Nov. 29 vs. Toronto.
