In Response to Great Smoky Mountains National Park Government Shutdown, Foxfire Mountain Adventures Offers Access to Their Park to Enjoy the Fall Colors
East Tennessee (PRWEB) October 06, 2013 -- In response to the forced government shutdown of the nation’s most-visited national park, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Foxfire Mountain Adventures, a high-adventure park based in the Smokies, is granting free of charge access to its hiking trails with waterfalls and America’s longest swinging bridge now through October 13.
“With the beautiful weather and spectacular autumn leaves, October is one of the busiest times of year for the national park. We didn’t think government bickering should interfere with residents and visitors enjoyment of this special time of year. We are inviting folks to hike our beautiful trails and experience America’s longest swinging bridge and treetops course at no charge. We will have tables set up along the river, so if people want to picnic lunch they have a place to sit and relax. Our lawn is the perfect place to take in a game of corn hole or just sit and enjoy the beauty of the mountains,” said Marc Postalwaite, owner of Foxfire Mountain Adventures.
Nestled in the hills of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, Foxfire Mountain Adventures is a high-adventure park which in addition to hiking trails and a swinging bridge, includes a seven-line canopy zip line tour and rugged ATV rides.
