Glen Ivy Hot Springs Supports the Women’s Transitional Living Center at Women’s Health Day on Saturday, October 19, 2013
Corona, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- As part of Glen Ivy Hot Springs’ Women’s Heath Day event on Saturday, October 19th, they will donate $5 from every admission to the Women’s Transitional Living Center (WTLC) in Orange, CA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women escape the complexities of domestic violence and exploitation. This day is set aside to acknowledge that women’s wellness is holistic-body, mind and spirit and aligns with the WTLC which provides the tools and resources for people to build self-esteem and empowerment with tender, loving care.
In addition, Glen Ivy will be offering guests a special Women’s Health Day Package that includes Admission and a 50-minute massage for $130, a $21 savings. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy some very remarkable women who will share stories of their journey and offer workshops that will offer inspiration and encouragement.
The keynote speaker, a local author and lawyer, Teresa Rhyne, is the New York Times bestselling author of The Dog Survived (And So Will I) who will speak about her experience fighting breast cancer with the help of her beagle, Seamus. Diana Boyle, founder and owner of Embody Pole Fitness, http://www.embodypolefitness.com, will share her story as a survivor of domestic violence who regained her self-esteem and found physical and emotional strength through pole fitness.
Also, Rachel Baker will present an Ayurvedic Health class and Meg Root, ACE certified Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist, wellness coach, and writer will share her FOOLPROOF system for leading a happier, healthier and more satisfying life with wellness at its core.
